He's here! We have a beautiful baby boy! He was born on July 16th at 7:20 am. He weighed 6lbs 10 ozs and was 20 1/2 inches! He is a great baby! Anna Claire loves him. She is a great big sister. Here are a few pictures!

Well, we are well over half way to meeting our little boy!!! We got a glimpse at what he will look like on Friday. I say he favors Anna Claire a little. So far, I am doing great! I did my sugar test and that came back good and I took my Rhogam shot since I am weird and have a negative blood type. My blood pressure is maintaining very well. We hope to have a full term chunky baby this time! Thanks for all the prayers! We can't wait to meet him!

Michael, Anna Claire, and I are sooo excited about our new family member that is coming SOON! We found out last Thursday that we are having a little BOY! We sorta feel like our family is complete. We have our little girl and our little boy. Although I would LOVE to have three kids! We are going one step at a time though :) Anna Claire was able to come with us to the doctor. I was excited to take her and introduce her to everyone that helped take care of me and her when she was where her brother is now. I kinda got emotional when she met Dr. Kimmel because I know that she was the one who got AC here safe and sound and took wonderful care of me! She is one reason why I am not in the least bit worried about having this baby. I know that He will be as healthy as his sister was. The check up went WONDERFUL! The baby looks great! He has all of his organs and they are all working. I always feel better when I hear that he has working parts :) Dr. Kimmel said I was doing great. I didn't gain any weight last month so I was glad because I have not been eating good at all. Pizza calls my name all the time! My blood pressure was good and believe it or not I am not swelling yet! I started swelling really early last time!

After the appointment, of course Michael and I HAD to start shopping for boy clothes. I can tell you that I was a little disappointed. The selection for boy clothes is bare compared to girls. So the first stores we went in, I ended up buying Anna Claire some clothes. FINALLY at Babies R Us and JcPenny we started finding some cute stuff for him. Needless to say, he has a durn good start on clothes!

Please continue to keep us in your prayers! We want so badly to be able to leave together as a family this time! Love you all!

It's been a while!

I know, I know... I am a horrible person for not posting in almost THREE months! All three of us has been REALLY busy after the holidays. As most of you already know, we are having another baby at the end of July. That has obviously been the focus of out attention since we found out. We are excited and nervous. I think I am the only one nervous though. Anna Claire will only be 20 months when this baby arrives. We will have TWO babies on our hands. I am praying for extra strength and patience. Anna Claire is in to EVERYTHING. she is walking and talking and very strong willed. Michael and I are amazed at what all she has accomplished in the past few months. She is eating with a fork (sort of), and has developed a love for tv. I know I shouldn't let her watch very much, but it is a life saver when I need to wash clothes or cook.

Michael has been working hard lately. He got moved to the midnight shift with the Sheriff Department. I hate it. I am selfish and want him at home to sleep with Anna Claire and I. BUT I know that is the price you pay for working in the job that he has. He has taken on a detail at First Pres in Jackson on Sunday mornings, working security in the parking lot. That extra money is covering our new baby bill! We are thankful that God put that in our lap. Then, he is working at Raymond PD part time. He only works here like 4 days a month, but its nice to know that we have a little extra coming in to help with things like new tires for the Jeep, Anna Claire some fun things that ordinarily we couldn't buy for her. God has blessed us and we are THANKFUL!

We are getting sooo excited about Christmas.... well.... I am! Michael and I have almost finished shopping. I even put Jasper's stocking goodies in his stocking. We are on a roll! Its coming and going to quickly though. Here are some pictures to document Anna Claire's 1st really fun Christmas!! Last year, she was tiny so it was kinda like she was the present. This year, its going to be great!!!!

I realize it has been almost a month since I updated this. I am sorry. We have been super busy. Anna Claire turned 9 months yesterday. It really can't be that long since she was born. What happened with the time? She has turned into her own little person. She started crawling a couple of weeks ago. She is into EVERYTHING! When I say everything... I do mean EVERYTHING! We have to watch her constantly. She likes going under the coffee table for some reason. She has many toys, but only loves the things that she can't have. She pulls up on tables, chairs, jasper... just about anything that will support her weight. In the next couple of days I will post some pictures of some things that I happened to catch her doing. At our 9 month checkup she weighed a whopping 18lbs 8ozs. YEA!!!! She is a big girl! Stay tuned for some pictures!

I realize now that there is no need to go to the movies or go somewhere to see a show... Just have a baby and you will NEVER need to seek other forms of entertainment! I love my life!

A Bad week turned Good!

Last week was a rough one for our little family. Ms Priss was waking up in the middle of the night crying and she was just fussy pants all day at daycare. She started running fever and we ended up taking her to the doctor. Come to find out, my little angel had her first ear infection. Michael and I both thought she was teething, but we were wrong :( She was oh so pitiful for about 3 days. Thank goodness for medicine though! She was good as new come Saturday. Which was WONDERFUL because she just HAD to celebrate her 1st 4th of July! Check out the pictures!

A GREAT WEEKEND!!

This past weekend was great! It all started Friday. I picked up Anna Claire from daycare and we went home. We pulled up in the driveway and Daddy had her pool full of water and the grill had hamburgers on it. We played outside for a long time. Anna Claire had fun. She likes being outside. Saturday, Michael got off work early and we went to Brookhaven to swim at Ms. Carol's house with mawmaw and pawpaw Etheridge. It was a lot of fun. Anna Claire loved the big pool, but she only lasted about 30-45 minutes cause she just about fell asleep in her floaty. Needless to say, everyone was worn out after an afternoon of swimming and eating. Sunday, was a resting day. When daddy got home we went out to babies r us and got her some "happies". I spend WAY too much money in that place. It was fun though, Anna Claire got to spend some time with her Nana and Papaw Wilson.

Oh No She Didn't!

Oh yes! She did! I picked her up at daycare yesterday, and noticed that she was wearing a different outfit than what I dropped her off in..... It is not unusal that sometimes she spits up or something and they change her, but today... it was different . I was informed that my child, Miss Perfect, POOPED ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!! I was so embarrassed! I know someday I will tell these stories to her boyfriends and they will embarrass her then, but now I have a mortified look on MY face! :)

BIGGGGG Accomplishment!

About 2 weeks ago, we started trying to teach Anna Claire how to sit up. At first she would just sit for a split second and roll over and cry because she would end up on her stomach (she hates being on her stomach.) One day, its like it all just clicked. We put her on the floor and she stayed up. We were so proud of her that we started clapping. She got excited and fell over haha! We are very proud of her. She is sitting like a champ now!

Six months goes by FAST! Anna Claire is 6 months old today! I can't believe it! She is hitting all sorts of milestones! She is "learning" how to use a sippy cup! We bought her two different kinds to try and she likes the one with the straw. I think its because she likes to chew on it. HaHa! But she understands that concept of "I'm supposed to put this in my mouth and something is going to come out of there". It is fun watching her learn new things. She is getting closer to sitting up without help. She will hold herself up with her arms until she decides she is getting tired of it and just rolls forward. We are having a blast with her!

My First Mother's Day!

I am so blessed! I can't believe that I celebrated Mother's Day yesterday and I am actually a mother! Since Sunday I was going to be in Brookhaven visiting my mama, Michael decided to have it with me on Saturday! He grilled me chicken and shrimp, and Anna Claire "bought" me Bride Wars and some beach stickers for our scrapbook and a card with a cute little foot print on it! I didn't have to have anything but I loved my happies! I don't think I could have asked for a sweeter family than what God gave me! :)

It's Happening Already

So, I went and picked her up from daycare yesterday and was told my sweet innocent angel was an exhibitionist. Apparently, she was supposed to be "napping" and took her diaper off! Is this a glimpse into the future? Will my child be that kid who runs around naked all the time?

We had Anna Claire's 6 month check-up this morning, and I am THRILLED! I thought I would never quit smiling when the doctor said that she was AVERAGE in everything! My big girl weighs 15 pounds even and is 251/2 inches long! I was so proud of her for being a big girl when she got her 3 shots! She really didn't even fuss much ( I was smart and stuck a bottle of Apple Juice in her mouth as soon as it was over .) We are going to have to start her on breathing treatments because of some congestion that just won't go away. Other than that, we are done with doctors until August ( if the Lord keeps us well .)

She got tickled at her daddy last night and started laughing! It was the cutest thing! That is the first time I heard her laugh out loud and I missed getting it on video :( ...

It's about time!

I did it! I finally broke down and joined everyone else in blogging! I am actually doing it for all of my family and friends that want to keep up with Anna Claire. She is getting so big! We are taking her to the doctor Wednesday for her 6 month check-up. I can't believe it! Where has the time gone!? When I took her a month ago for her sinus infection, she weighed a whopping 14lbs 8ozs! She is a big girl considering she only weighed 4lbs 5ozs when she was born! I think its the 42 jars of baby food she eats every week (yes, I said 42). She is very active. She has been rolling over and "trying" to sit up. We sit her up, and she will stay for a total of 3 seconds and then just rolls to her side. BUT we are getting there! The doctors said she would be behind a couple of months.... Not hardly! We have realized that she does have a temper ( I wonder where she gets that ), and if she is happy DO NOT MESS WITH HER! HaHa!

Michael is doing good! He is still LOVING his job... I think I remember why back when he promised me he wouldn't be a police officer... He lied!!! I should have known haha! I am glad he found something that he enjoys. Most of all... he loves his little girl! I love watching him play with her, and hold her. She is a daddy's girl for sure!

I am doing good too!!! I feel great!! I think having Anna Claire is the best thing I could have done for myself! We are trying to eat better and are doing really good! I weigh less now than I did before I got pregnant!!! My goal is to get back in my college clothes! HaHa! We'll See how that goes!!!
